Practice placements in South Africa approved for student support

KBT Vocational College cooperates with Good Hope Volunteers in Cape Town on practice placements and professional development. The cooperation is directed in particular at social enterprises and initiatives that create social value through work, inclusion and coping.

Students can take part in initiatives that help women into working life, in recovery and rehabilitation for people with addiction challenges, in work with youth and vulnerable groups, and in community development and social inclusion.

During the placement, students continue to follow their teaching in Norway digitally, so the stay abroad is integrated into the study programme rather than replacing it.
