POMEIL, Promotion of Migrant Entrepreneurship andIntegration in the European Labour Market

What if learning to start a business felt like solving a puzzle? POMEIL builds digital escape rooms from real migrant and refugee life stories, turning entrepreneurial skills training into something people actually want to finish.

Project overview

What if learning to start a business felt like solving a puzzle? POMEIL builds digital escape rooms from real migrant and refugee life stories, turning entrepreneurial skills training into something people actually want to finish.

Background

Migrants and refugees arrive with skills, trades and ambition, and then hit a wall of unfamiliar rules, missing networks and unrecognised qualifications. POMEIL maps those barriers to the labour market in the host countries, and answers them not with another lecture series but with game-based, personalised learning. Ukrainian refugees are a particular focus of the project.
