KIPS Youth, LifeSkills for Youth

A digital learning programme giving young people aged 13–16 knowledge and concrete tools to handle stress, restlessness, worry, overthinking and difficult emotions, through short films and simple everyday exercises.

Project overview

A digital learning programme giving young people aged 13–16 knowledge and concrete tools to handle stress, restlessness, worry, overthinking and difficult emotions, through short films and simple everyday exercises.

Background

Many young people struggle with stress, restlessness and overwhelming thoughts, yet practical help is often hard to access. KIPS UNG ('Knowledge and tools for an easier everyday life') was developed by KBT to meet young people where they are: through short, engaging films they learn to understand their own reactions, give difficult thoughts less space, and direct their attention towards what matters to them. The programme has two tracks, one for young people themselves, and one for professionals with training films, guidance material and documents for follow-up.

Objectives

  • · Help young people aged 13–16 understand common reactions to stress, restlessness and difficult situations
  • · Teach concrete methods that make it easier to handle thoughts and feelings
