Study visit from Wales with the correctional services as the theme

The main purpose of the visit was to explore how the Norwegian correctional services work with rehabilitation, and how lived experience and peer support can be used to support people during and after imprisonment.

KBT's own pilot with peer support worker education inside a high-security prison was a natural part of the programme, along with the college's wider work on experience-based competence.

Alongside the professional programme, the group from Wales took part in everyday life at the college, including a double birthday celebration for two of the staff during the visit.
