Roger Santokhie from KBT Vocational College took part in the kick-off meeting for a new Nordic-Baltic collaboration on Health Literacy in Trondheim on 2 September.

The initiative brings together academic and professional partners from Tartu University in Estonia, Mid Sweden University, University College in Denmark, Trondhjems Hospital in Norway, and KBT Vocational College.

Online kick-off meeting with partners from across the Nordic-Baltic region
Partners joined both in person and online for the kick-off in Trondheim.

The meeting marked the beginning of an exciting cross-border collaboration connecting education, research and professional practice. The aim is to exchange knowledge and experience, explore new approaches, and strengthen how people understand, assess and use health information in their everyday lives.

For KBT Vocational College, this is also an important part of our international work: connecting our academic environment with strong partners across the Nordic and Baltic region and developing collaborations that can lead to concrete results in education, research and practice.

We look forward to seeing how this partnership develops and to the opportunities it may create for both our students and professional communities.
