Good Hope Volunteers Visits KBT Vocational College

This week, KBT Vocational College had the pleasure of welcoming Wolfgang Graser from Good Hope Volunteers in South Africa.

During his visit, Wolfgang gave three presentations to students from our Peer Support and Social Entrepreneurship programmes. He introduced the students to Good Hope Volunteers, their work in Cape Town, and the opportunities available for students who choose to complete part of their internship in South Africa.

The presentations gave the students useful information about what they can expect, both professionally and personally. An international internship is not only an opportunity to gain practical experience. It is also a chance to experience another culture, meet new people, challenge yourself and develop new perspectives.

For KBT, international mobility is an important part of giving students learning opportunities beyond the classroom. Our cooperation with Good Hope Volunteers opens the door for students to gain valuable experience in a completely different social and cultural setting.

A big thank you to Wolfgang for visiting KBT, meeting our students and sharing his experience. We look forward to continuing the cooperation and to seeing KBT students gain new experiences in Cape Town.
