Cooperation agreement with the Global Coalition for Ukrainian Studies

On 23 October KBT signed a cooperation agreement with the Global Coalition for Ukrainian Studies, an international initiative started by Ukraine's First Lady Olena Zelenska.
The main aim of the coalition is to bring together universities and research institutions from across the world to strengthen understanding of Ukraine and advance the development of Ukrainian studies.
The signing ceremony was attended by Ukraine's Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha, together with representatives of the University of Oslo, the University of Tromsø, KBT Vocational College and the UKRAINETT network.
The initiative supports programmes and projects that spread knowledge of Ukraine's history, culture, language, literature and identity, support research in Ukrainian studies, counter disinformation and strengthen the academic community.
Through global partnerships like this, Norway takes part in developing intercultural dialogue, educational and cultural exchange and joint innovation and community projects, strengthening the ties between Norway and Ukraine and opening new opportunities in education, culture and entrepreneurship.
